Mary Quite Contrary by Naomi 'Brigid' Gill
comic

Okay, so it's a pretty lame gag at the end. Really, I mainly wanted to encapsulate what goes on during the visit.

My personal favorite is the first panel. Dad would say that every time we went on an overnight trip. Sometimes even when we were just on a day trip. Those exact words. Every time. We could've made bets on how long it took before he said that.

Well, whatever works. Typically we were very quiet for at least 15 minutes after he said that.

I'm looking at my calender right now and for a second I thought Brohimer was wearing a plaid shirt under his armor. On closer inspection I find that it isn't plaid but a sort of al frescoish pattern on the collar of his tunic.

Still, the idea of a knight of Gondor wearing a flanel plaid just won't leave my head. @.@
